This week, Disney inks a new deal with one of the

some good news regarding the Universal Tram Tour. - sir

Six
Flags in more trouble???
Yahoo reported Monday on '15 companies that may not survive
2009' and Six Flags is among those that may be in danger. Despite
trying to adopt a more 'Family Friendly' atmosphere in recent
years, some of the stigma related to a decade plus of 'Xtreme'
rides is looking hard to shake. However, with families not travelling,
perhaps the local park-goers can keep the chain going.
Disney
Inks Deal with Dreamworks
The rumors started over the weekend that Disney was in the running
for a distribution deal with Dreamworks, and maybe more importantly,
Steven Spielberg. On Monday, those rumors came to be as Disney
will handle distribution of approximately six Dreamworks movie
each year, starting in 2010. This is only for live-action movies
and isn't for the Animation division. So don't expect to see
Shrek or Kung Fu Panda at the parks in the future.
Universal
to re-open backlot, production resumes mid-summer
Nearly a year after a devastating fire destroyed parts of it's
backlot, Universal Studios Hollywood (USH) is looking to bring
the area back, and better than ever. Rebuilt locations include
its popular Courthouse Square, Brownstone and New York streets.
The studio also added sets such as a gas station, a firehouse,
a London Street, as well as a modern urban cityscape.
