| Here at the Disneyland Resort the
MiceChat Practice Gumball Rally was a huge success. But we aren't
stopping there. We have the full Gumball Rally coming up on Saturday May 30th
and it promises to be a million times more fun. Disney World is getting
a Stitch Stage while Tokyo Disneyland continues to celebrate (Now it's the
26th anniversary). In other news, apes are being resurrected,
pigs are flying and Disney looks to the Earth for movie material.
Enjoy!

MiceChat is a ton of fun. But you can't play and you can't win

This week DisneyBallerina submitted
a wonderful piece about the Meets and Events section of MiceChat.
It was so good I decided to let her tell you all about it in her
own words...

If you've never been to a MiceChat event and you're
hesitating, please watch the Meets & Events section for
an outing or meet which might be just right for you. Plus, there
is always the traditional Sunday noon meet in the hub; that
is hard to beat for Disney-loving fun. Truly, I think it would
be difficult to find a more friendly, welcoming group of people
than the MiceChatters in the hub on any Sunday. Don't be shy,
all are welcome! ~ disneyballerina
Practice

The dust has settled on the Practice Rally held at Disneyland
last weekend and wow! A great time was had by all. It was a

have fun competing before the 'real' pressure is on! The results
of the competition are here, and our own Dustysage
has all the scoop and some great photos.

Now they are hiding the BBQ's high prices!

Lots of activity this week with announcements of Entertainment,
Enhancements, and Electrical Parade additions coming this summer.
LOTS of reports from DCA's Food and Wine Festival, as well
at the practice run for the Gumball Rally! And top it all off

Richboi117 may not be breaking the bank with
his upcoming trip to WDW but wants to know how much money
MiceChatters
(or people they have heard of) have parted with on their vacations
there. It begs the Question: How high... is up?

This week we get tons of super-awesome pics from Tokyo Disney,
including some very dangerous Monsters Merch! Also, is OK to par-lay
the En-glay in Fran-say? ~ PEZZ

Tokyo
- the 26th anniversary day trip report
TDLFAN was at... well... TDL the day it celebrated
it's 26th anniversary and the new Monsters Inc. Ride opened!
What was THAT line like? You won't believe your eyes. Also,
wonderful shots of parade floats, food, castle, rides, and a
fistful of Fastpasses!
Tokyo
- Let's go Shopping at TDL!!!
TDLFAN did some merch-an-diffic sightseeing at DLRP and shows
off some of the amazing toys and clothing available there! I,
for one, never even knew I needed a hat that looks like Roz
(from Monsters Inc). Until I saw her standing (slithering?)
there...
Paris
- Language Barrier
Henryt93 is going to DLRP soon and wants to
know how easily it is to converse at the Park? Or is it Parque?
Anyway, MiceChatters are more than happy to compare the multi-lingual
possibilities that exist in DLRP as opposed to, say, actual
Paris for example...

As Dr. Nick would say, Hi there everybody! I think Spring has
finally sprung for most of us and as the trees and flowers bloom,
so does the Other Parks section of MiceChat. Let's see what everyone's
talking about this week. ~ elly

KONG

Studios Hollywood's big banana loving ape. Read the link and
add your thoughts, good idea or should USH gone with something
new and different?
General
Electric Considers Buying Sea World Orlando
aimster brings us news that General Electric
might be looking to add Sea World properties to their current
portfolio. Will this be a good fit for Shamu and all his buddies?
Manta
opening ahead of schedule...
The title almost says it all, but TDLFAN provides
even more evidence as to a possible early opening for the much
anticipated opening of Manta at Sea World Orlando. Maybe they're
trying to impress GE?
Sleeping
Beauty Castle... in Bavaria?
Rikki-Tikki-Alex took a trip to Bavaria and
shares some just lovely photos of the local landscape with us
here at MiceChat.
Some
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk pictures
Santa Cruz is home to a famous (infamous?) boardwalk and HighLeveller
was fortunate to visit over the Earth Day this last week and
shares their views and photos with us in this trip report.

Tacos, ticks, and Tom Selleck -- hmm. When will I figure out
a way to tie these threads together? When pigs fly, I reckon.
Oh, and speaking of swine... ~ disneyballerina
