Allwine Voice of Mickey Mouse Passes away
Wayne Allwine, the voice of Mickey Mouse for 32 years, passed
away last week. Wayne was only the third person to provide the
voice for the world's most famous mouse, following Walt Disney
himself and then Jimmy MacDonald. Allwine is survived by his
wife, Russi Taylor, and five children from a previous marriage.

Elly and her husband Dustin
visit the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim several times a
year and have grand plans of visiting all of the other
Disney parks one of these days. Elly spends her time away
from Disneyland and MiceChat working as a registered nurse,
moonlighting as a walking zombie, playing far too much
World of Warcraft and enjoying all the various haunts
that spring up around Halloween, especially Knott's Halloween
Haunt which she will be attending for the 12th year in
a row in 2009. Elly loves being a part of the Round-Up
Crew and MiceChat because it has given her the opportunity
to meet and get to know some amazing people from this
community. |
